“Ghazals will fade out” - Jagjit Singh

It wouldn’t be preposterous to assume that Padmabhushan awardee, Shri Jagjit Singh is single handedly responsible for popularizing Ghazals in our country, taking it to the universal appeal it now enjoys. Although his exposure to Bollywood has been minimal, the mellifluous songs he sang for a few of these films will stand the test of time.
