Air India's Maharaja offers passengers flying on its jets a musical treat with the most diverse collection of world-class music performances from the successful TV show "Idea Jalsa - Music for the Soul". This first of its kind content for in-flight programming has been conceived by Durga Jasraj and is produced by her company Art & Artistes’ (I) Pvt. Ltd.

‘Idea Jalsa’ was the only program that presents all the diverse genres and forms of Indian Music in an authentic manner, with world class production quality levels. During the press release Ms. Jasraj said, “We are very proud of this achievement! It’s the first time such type of content has been included for in-flight programming… and being on Air India means a lot to us. Along with Annu Kapoor, Ms Jasraj also hosts this unique show, which has over the years been established as the single largest platform for all forms of Indian Music.

Indian passengers will have the opportunity to choose their favorite musician from the likes of Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj, Javed Akhtar,  Kavita Krishnamoorthy,  Bela Shende, Dr L Subramaniam , Jagjit Singh, Wadali Brothers, Shounak Abhisheki,  Hans Raj Hans, Vikku Vinayakram, Usha Uthup, Kadri Gopal Yogesh Samsi and Niladarii Kumar besides other talented young musicians. They can also select the genre of the music as the range and depth of the music on offer is varied.
